Cars in Germany's Town Found Covered with Nazi Symbols in Human Blood, Police State

Authorities stated they were alerted by a man who found a car in Hanau marked with reddish substance

Roughly fifty vehicles have been covered with what appears to be blood from a person in the German city of Hanau in proximity to Frankfurt, as reported by law enforcement.

Vehicles, walls and postboxes were marked, sometimes with swastikas, they stated in a official communication.

Police say they were alerted in the late hours on Wednesday night, when a resident discovered that a car in the Lamboy district of Hanau had been marked with a reddish liquid.

The fluid had been applied in the shape of a Nazi symbol, they added.

Law enforcement then found numerous other vandalized vehicles and building exteriors in the surrounding area.

These symbols are prohibited in Germany under legislation prohibiting the public exhibition of symbols from the Nazi era.

Police report initial examinations show the liquid was most likely human blood.

"There is still no lead as to its origin; authorities are currently not cognizant of any injuries in association with the occurrence," they commented.

Municipal representatives stated they were attempting "to resolve the incident" and have asked to the residents for information.

An important official stated the vandalism rendered him without words and required to be solved quickly.

"This event strikes at the core of Hanau and revives the pain of the extremist terrorist attack five years ago," he wrote on online, recalling the murder of nine victims by a assailant focusing on people of migrant background in 2020.
